The Association of Children’s Entertainers (ACE) is no longer running as an official organisation.
Over the years, close friendships have formed between ACE members who have freely shared help and advice and ideas raising the standard of all members. But over time, the organisation came to a natural end. We still meet up from time to time and will no doubt come together as a group in some form or other in the future.
The Association of Children’s Entertainers and Performers (known as ‘ACE Performers’) was an organisation whose members were professional children’s entertainers, with extensive performing experience and proven entertainment skills.
The Association set industry standards in the field of children’s entertainment, and suppored its members by providing a range of skills training, career development and educational programmes, in order that they can consistently perform to the highest standards.
Every ACE member possessed Disclosure Certification, Public Liability Insurance, and their electrical and sound equipment is PAT-tested annually to meet health and safety standards.
Anyone who booked an ACE Performer could be confident they are engaging an experienced, skilled, reliable, knowledgeable, ethical and dedicated entertainer, with proper accreditation and appropriate insurance, who consistently delivers the highest standards of professional excellence.
